Eager for an adventure? This Easter weekend (April 18-21, 2025), Kliché has an exciting study trip planned—and you get to help decide the destination! After weeks of planning, the Study Trip Committee has selected three amazing city options, and now it’s up to Kliché members to choose where we’ll go.

The three cities will be revealed at the info lunch, so don’t miss out! Join us to discover where Kliché could take you! At the end of the lunch, you’ll receive a link to vote for your favorite city.

P.S. Kliché will provide some food for this lunch ;)

First Borrel of the Year

Already tired of studying and looking for a relaxing evening to meet fun people and have a drink?😴 We got you! The new board of Kliche is organising their first official borrel of the year on september the 12th!🍻

We are welcoming you all next thursday at 20:00 at Café Leentje (Thorbeckeplein 3) for drinks and an evening full of ‘gezelligheid’.🥳 The first FIFTY members of Kliché will get a free beer, so make sure you get there as fast as you can! 🏃🏃‍♀️

We hope to see everyone there so we can all get to know eachother and have the best year! For everyone new: welcome! 🎉And to everyone we talked to during the introduction and to our returning members: welcome back!🫶🏻We would love to see you again, and if you know any potential new Kliché members: bring them along!! 👯‍♀️

25 Apr: Cocktail Workshop + Kingsday Borrel

Hii all,

Kingsday is just around the corner we have to celebrate our beloved king🫅🧡. We are going to celebrate it BIG💥! The Social activity and cultural commity have joined powers and present: cocktailworkshop 🍹& borrel🍻.

From 18:00 we have organized a workshop where you can learn to shake 3 different types of cocktails🍸. And most importantly drink them all;). There are 20 spots for the workshop. The link will be posted on our instagram after the weekend (@kliché.fwg). For members it will be 5 euros and for non members 10 euros🤑. You can join the borrel afterwards!

From 20:00 the borrel will start. During the borrel we will play some typical kingsday games, like ‘spijkerpoepen’ and ofcourse have some nice FREE drinks🍷🍻!

Join us on the 29th of February at the library! For the Night at the Library 📚💥🌃! Hosted by all the humanities associations.

There will be beerpong 🍻, a pubquiz 🤔, creative workshops 🎨👨🏻‍🎨 and a silent disco 🪩🕺🏻. Drinks and dinner included!

30 Oct: Book Club

We’ll end the month with the first book club! It will be on the 30th of October and we will be discussing Swimming in the Dark by Tomasz Jedrowski. The book is set in 1980s Poland and is a blend of post-war politics, romance, and intensity. You don’t have to have read the book to join but it will definitely be more fun.
