With the new month a new newsletter arrives! What’s a better way to end your day than with something to read?

In this month's edition, we'll look back on some fun past activities, inform you about a new way to support your favorite study association and we'll end with some words from our beloved chair.

🍁Autumn Borrel Recap!🍁

The Autumn Borrel was a lovely intimate evening in the social room, up on the twelfth floor. Not just the beer and wine were a-flowin’, but so were the conversations! In short: gewoon gezellig! There seemed to be not just one, but five DJ’s mixing their tastes to create the ultimate cozy vibes from odes to Glee; classics; to new songs, never even heard before! Favourite writers were discussed, oliebollen were thoroughly enjoyed and mice were spotted (in trashcans, no less).

Of course our resident digicam photographer Nienke was on site to capture us all. Real autumnal photo’s that we will probably soon see appear on our Instagram page: @kliche.fgw. Wanna jog your memory or look back at any other endeavors?

🎄Best Wishes from the Board🎆

Dear members,

It is the most wonderful time of the year! Time for Christmas, friends, gezelligheid, new year’s eve in a while and last but not least… exams!

I want to extend my dear wishes to everyone and my first wish is for everyone to survive this busy period. Some of us are going to fail some exams (please let it not be me for once) and others are not looking forward to meeting that family member again during Christmas. Please remind yourself to spend time with the people that are most dear to you, studying comes second! Disclaimer; please do study a bit too.

Kliché has come some ways since the start of this year. We as a board had some lovely awkward introductions to the new first years as well some second years. We made a new media committee of which you are right now witnessing its achievements! We had a couple successful borrels, we have trustee members both in the board (read: Stijn), as well as outside the board (read: Yulisa). Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them. Besides the 12th board’s drinking adventures in Twente and Amsterdam we have been busy behind the screens to professionalise our association. An updated board manual, sponsorkliks, the biggest humanities Cobo is being planned right now, committees that have planned their first activities and implementing ideas, a solid grasp over our finances… I can’t thank all the members in my board enough for all the work they are putting in.

Then moving away from the past into the new year:  There are many events still being planned, but oh am I already looking forward to going on that study trip next year! And what about Kliché merch? And don’t tell me you don’t want to hear your board sing Taylor Swift at a karaoke night… Well even if you don’t, Floor and Cas can’t wait.

Finally, I want to again wish all of you some happy holidays! I am super excited to see you all again at our next event.
